Enhanced Friction Zone and Reduced Effort

The Rekluse slave cylinder features a specialized piston diameter that optimizes fluid displacement. This engineering shift provides two major benefits:

• Expanded Friction Zone: By widening the “sweet spot” where the clutch engages, it makes low-speed maneuvers and smooth take-offs effortless.
• Lighter Lever Pull: Reduces the physical force required to hold the clutch in at stoplights, significantly cutting down on hand fatigue during long rides or heavy traffic.

Billet Aluminum Durability

Unlike the factory unit which often utilizes a plastic piston that can swell or fail under high heat, the Rekluse assembly is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. The hard-anodized finish and high-quality internal seals ensure a long service life and consistent performance even in the extreme heat environments of a large-displacement V-Twin engine.

Simplified Maintenance

Rekluse designed this unit to be a “drop-in” replacement that works with your existing master cylinder and hydraulic line. It is compatible with standard DOT 4 brake fluid, making it easy to integrate into your regular maintenance schedule. The improved seal design also reduces the risk of fluid bypass, ensuring that your clutch doesn’t “creep” while in gear.

Fitment and Compatibility (2013–2016)

This unit is specifically designed for 6-speed Big Twin models with factory hydraulic actuation:

• Touring: 2014–2016 Ultra Limited, Street Glide Special, Road Glide Special, and Road King (standard on CVO 2013–2016).
• Softail: 2013–2016 CVO models and “S” Series models (FLSS, FLSTBS) equipped with hydraulic clutches.
• Note: Not for use on cable-actuated models. Ensure your system is thoroughly bled after installation for peak performance.
