Using old pads that have been heat-cycled or worn unevenly on a previous rotor can cause “hot spotting” and premature wear on the new disc. This rotor is fully compatible with Sintered, Semi-Sintered, and Organic pads. For heavy touring use, we recommend pairing this rotor with Twin Power X-Stop Sintered pads for the ultimate in heavy-duty stopping power.
