Installation Notes (Critical)
The 2-inch drop is achieved by stacking a combination of the stock rebound spring and the longer rebound spring supplied in the kit onto the damper rod (after draining the fork oil). The 1-inch drop uses only the longer supplied rebound spring.
Important Trade-offs
Ground Clearance: Lowering the front end reduces the bike’s ground clearance and, combined with a lowered rear (if applicable), can significantly reduce the available lean angle.
Jiffy Stand: You must check your motorcycle’s parking lean angle after lowering. A lowered front and rear will likely require a shorter kickstand to ensure the bike is stable when parked.
