The Rekluse TorqDrive Clutch Kit for 1998–2017 Big Twins is not just a replacement; it is a total re-engineering of the manual clutch. More Plates, More Grip, More Control
Standard Harley clutches rely on roughly 9 friction plates. The Rekluse TorqDrive system utilizes up to 15 friction plates. This massive increase in surface area provides several key advantages:
- Increased Torque Capacity: It can handle high-horsepower builds (Stage IV and beyond) without the need for an impossibly stiff pressure plate spring.
- Lighter Lever Pull: Because the surface area does the heavy lifting, you can use lighter springs to achieve a “one-finger” clutch feel.
- Eliminated Fade: The thin-plate design allows for better oil flow and faster heat dissipation, preventing clutch “fade” during aggressive riding or in heavy traffic.
Rekluse Basket Sleeves
