By offering two distinct weights, Progressive allows you to “tune” your front-end feel based on your weight and riding style:

• Standard 10wt (Type E): The go-to choice for most riders. It provides a smooth, compliant ride that mirrors the factory feel but with improved temperature stability and less “fade” during long rides.
• Heavy-Duty 20wt: Recommended for heavier riders, those frequently carrying a passenger/luggage, or riders seeking a firmer, more “planted” front end. This heavier weight slows down the compression and rebound, significantly reducing front-end dive during hard braking.

Anti-Foam and Seal-Preserving Formula

One of the biggest enemies of suspension performance is aeration. As forks move rapidly, standard oils can foam, leading to inconsistent damping. Progressive’s formula includes advanced anti-foaming agents that prevent air bubbles from forming, maintaining a solid column of fluid for the valves to work through. Additionally, the formula is enriched with conditioners that keep fork seals pliable, preventing the drying and cracking that leads to messy leaks.

Long-Term Internal Protection

Fork internals are susceptible to moisture and metallic debris.
