Extreme Lowering: The standard Burly Slammer Shocks measure a stubby 10.5 inches from eye-to-eye. Since the stock shocks on most Touring models are 13 inches, these shocks will drop the rear of your bike by approximately 2.5 inches, giving it that distinct, ground-hugging stance.
Aesthetic Focus: These are the go-to shocks for riders prioritizing the “slammed” or lowrider aesthetic. They are often part of a full Slammer Kit that also lowers the front end.
Adjustable Preload: They feature a 5-position cam-style preload adjuster. This allows you to easily adjust the spring tension to tune the ride for your specific weight or a passenger, which is essential given the minimal travel.
Progressive Rate Springs: The springs are progressive-rate, designed to be soft initially for better road feel and then get stiffer rapidly to resist bottoming out.

Same Height, More Travel: The Slammer Plus still sits at the 10.5 inch ride height, but utilizes an innovative flat wire spring and a longer internal damper (11.5 inches) to provide almost 2 inches of usable travel.
Benefit: This increased travel significantly improves cushioning and damping performance without sacrificing the slammed look, making the bike much more comfortable for daily riding and light touring.
If comfort is even a minor concern, the Slammer Plus is the recommended choice over the standard Slammer for the heavy Touring platform.

2014-Up models: Installer must replace included 0.20” thick additional spacers with 1/2” SAE flat washers on all shock mounts for adequate saddle bag clearance
