Hidden Mounting: The primary component is the Plug-N-Play Mount, a bracket that bolts underneath the passenger seat directly to the rear fender. This eliminates the need for bulky, visible side plates or docking hardware attached to the fender struts.

Aesthetics: The system’s main appeal is its ability to “clean up the lines” of the motorcycle when riding solo, as the mounting hardware is concealed beneath the seat pad.

Modular System: The mount is designed to accept Kuryakyn’s specific, generally low-profile sissy bar stick (P/N 8980) and a backrest pad (P/N 1605), both of which are sold separately.

Universal Fit: The mount is typically designed for wide compatibility across various older Harley models (Softail, Dyna, Sportster, FXR) with standard 130mm to 150mm rear tires.
