Öhlins STX Technology: These shocks use the STX single-tube, monotube design. The “E” stands for Emulsion type, where the shock oil and nitrogen gas are mixed. This simple, reliable design ensures consistent, high-quality damping, making a night-and-day difference over stock.

36mm Piston Diameter: The large 36mm piston (S36) provides excellent fluid flow and damping control, allowing the shock to react quickly and precisely to the road, dramatically improving stability and compliance.

Adjustable Spring Preload: The shocks feature threaded preload adjusters. This is crucial on the Sportster platform for setting the correct “sag” for your weight, ensuring the shock operates in its optimal range for both comfort and performance.

Shock lengths are measured fully extended, eyelet to eyelet on centers
A change in height at one end of the bike may require a change at the other
Changing ride height can potentially change the trail and mechanical trail
